Fully operational in 2019, the Gresik depot becomes our gateway for expansion towards Eastern Java. This depot primarily handles fuel distribution for Surabaya and surrounding areas, and asphalt distribution for Eastern Indonesia.
Considered as one of the most important seaports in Sumatra, and the busiest seaport outside of Java, BBT Belawan Depot is positioned at a prime location for efficient distribution of fuel around North Sumatra. It is located only less than 25 km from the city center of Medan, or about an hour away by land. The Depot started its operations in 2023 and has served a myriad of industries including plantation, paper, construction and manufacturing, amongst others.
In addition to the main Merak Terminal and Gresik Depot, BBT is constantly identifying potential markets to expand our business. The first phase of our expansion will concentrate to establish our presence across Java and Sumatra islands.
This depot will serve distribution around Central Java.
